Jwaneng Galaxy has been drawn against Uganda’s Vipers SC after the preliminary round draw for the CAF Champions League was conducted in Cairo today.

The first leg is set to take place on the weekend of August 18 to 20 with the second leg a week later between August 25 and 27. There is a possibility of a Galaxy-Orlando Pirates match-up in the first round of the competition.

The South African side was drawn against Djabal of Comoros in the preliminary round. A win for Galaxy and Pirates in the preliminary round would mean the two neighbours face-off. The first leg of the first round takes place on the weekend of September 15, with the return a fortnight later.
