Delegates of the Botswana Karate Association (BOKA) once again left the Annual General Meeting (AGM) without receiving the financial report, something that has always been an Achilles Heel for BOKA.

It has been years since the BOKA financial report was presented, which has led to the downfall of the former president, Tshepho Bathai. This time around, the absence of the treasurer, Kemmonye Seletamotse, prevented the financial report from being presented and BOKA president Mpho Bakwadi explained the delay.

"The report is not ready. All I request is to be given three weeks to prepare it. Remember that we came into office in January, so we are going to account for three months. We had a challenge accessing the bank statement from the last financial year," he said. However, Bakwadi told Mmegi Sport on Wednesday that the treasurer was actively working on the report.
