DTCB increases women's football deal to P1.7M

Botswana Football Association (BFA) and Diamond Trading Company Botswana (DTCB) have signed an improved P1.7 million deal for women's football. The two first signed a partnership deal five years ago worth P1.5 million per season, and the diamond sorting and polishing company announced an increased P1.7 million deal yesterday.

Speaking at the sponsorship unveiling at Lekidi Centre, DTCB corporate affairs manager, Macdonald Motsele said the company was pleased with its partnership with BFA.

The money will be used to sponsor the DTC Botswana Women's Championship which will be played by teams that are outside the national league, formed last season.
