The Botswana Football Association (BFA) president, Maclean Letshwiti arrived in Morocco yesterday ahead of today’s CAF executive meeting to among others, discuss the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations bid.

Botswana is one of the countries bidding to host the 2027 tournament.

There is competition from Egypt, Algeria, and a joint bid from East African countries, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. The CAF executive meeting in Rabat comes days before the continental mother body holds its Ordinary General Assembly in Ivory Coast on July 13.
