CAF president, Patrice Motsepe this week indicated plans are advanced to more than double member association leaders’ annual gratuity from $20, 000 (approximately P260, 000) to $50, 000 (approx. P650, 000). This means each association president will have earned $200, 000 (P2.6million) in their four-year tenure. This week, Motsepe, addressing guests during the 2024 CAF Executive Programme Launch of CAF and University of Cape Town Partnership in Cape Town, said he would open the purse and reward football association presidents handsomely.
