Bathai gets kicked out Region 5 committee

Bathai was removed from the Region 5 committee together with the referee, Boston Rakgampi. BOKA secretary-general, Dick Othusitse Tshepang instructed AUSC Region 5 executive committee in a letter to remove Bathai and Rakgampu from any position they held. “We kindly request your office to relieve the former BOKA president, Bathai and Rakgampu from any duties assigned to them,” the letter reads in part.

Bathai was appointed as AUSC Region 5 secretary-general by the regional presidents in 2021. Rakhampu was appointed to be part the of Region 5 referees commission in 2022 for four years. He was also the BOKA referees commission chairperson, a position he has lost too. Bernard Morapedi is the new referees' commission chairperson. Other members are Webster Lentswe (vice chairperson), Brian Dibotelo (secretary), Mompati Kwati (member), and Obitseng Molefhe (member).
