BAA cuts ties with Nike

Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) has cut ties with long time technical sponsor, Nike. BAA vice president, Oabona confirmed to Mmegi Sport this afternoon that their association with Nike has come to an end.

"We will have a new one (technical sponsor) with a certain international brand, name withheld until we launch soon. Details of the new deal will be shared at the launch," he said. However, Mmegi Sport is informed that Puma will replace Nike as the new technical sponsor.
