FRANCISTOWN: The Botswana Premier League (BPL) rookies, Eleven Angels are likely to face heavy sanctions from the league authorities for streaming their recent league match against BDF XI on Khuduga TV Facebook page.

The match, played on Wednesday ended goalless. Khuduga is a television channel which mostly broadcasts through ISDBT Set Top Box. The move by Khuduga and Angels is viewed as a blatant transgression against the BFL broadcasting rules. State broadcaster, Botswana Television (Btv) owns the league’s broadcasting rights.

The latest development comes just weeks after BFL workshoped clubs on the importance of branding the league well and adhering to laid down marketing rules as well regulations.
