Zebras' to know AFCON opponents on October 29

The draw for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals will be conducted in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea on October 29, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced.

The Zebras and Ivory Coast are the only sides to have booked their place in CAF's flagship competition. Equatorial Guinea and Gabon qualify as co-hosts, leaving 12 slots still up for grabs. The finals will be played from January 21 to February 12, 2012.

Stanley Tshosane's charges will be making a maiden appearance at the continental showpiece with reported training camps scheduled for Brazil and West Africa. Tshosane said the draw, coming just three months before the finals, will not disadvantage his team.
