The Botswana Football Association (BFA) has snubbed Lesotho who were eager to play Zebras in an international friendly match next Wednesday and will now host the Harambee Stars of Kenya.

Lesotho were scheduled to play the Zebras last Wednesday during their Pretoria camp in South Africa but pulled out on the 11th hour citing 10 August - a FIFA international friendly match date - was the most ideal. However, BFA had already reserved next Wednesday for a date against the East Africans. BFA chief executive officer (CEO) Judge Mookodi confirmed that the Lesotho tie had been called off and that they had settled for the much-fancied Harambee Stars.

"We're still finalising some things - the venue and things like that we'll know better tomorrow. But the Lesotho game is definitely out for the time being," Mookodi told Mmegi Sport.
