Zebras slip one place despite South Sudan win

The Zebras slipped one place in the latest FIFA rankings released yesterday despite a convincing 3-0 win over minnows, South Sudan on March 5.

But this will not worry new coach, Peter Butler as the Zebras played opponents ranked 52nd in Africa and 201 in the World.

Botswana has fallen to 24th in Africa and 95th in the World. Playing lower ranked teams has fewer points. Ironically, South Sudan climbed one place up from 53rd despite the comprehensive Zebras defeat.
