Zebras leave for Chad

A win in N'Djamena will seal a maiden AFCON berth for the Zebras. Given what is at stake, the Botswana Football Association (BFA) last week sent an advance party to check on logistics in Addis Ababa and Chad. BFA technical director, Sonnyboy Sethibe and Eatametse Olopeng travelled to the two nations and are satisfied that everything is in place.

"We went to Ethiopia on the 13th (of March) to try and see how the conditions are. The general logistics have been finalised and the hotel that the team will be staying in is quite close to the training ground," Sethibe told a media briefing yesterday.
