The national soccer team, the Zebras face a daunting task in the semi-final of the regional COSAFA Castle Cup when they face South Africa away at Germiston Stadium on September 29.

The Zebras-Bafana Bafana game will be played at 4pm after the first semi-final between Mozambique and defending champions Zambia. The Zebras reached the semis after outwitting a stubborn Angolan side 3-1 through penalty shoot-outs in a Group C final at the National Stadium in Gaborone last month. Bafana Bafana sailed through after outwitting Malawi 2-0 in a Group B final played at the Somhlolo Stadium in Swaziland in May.

There will be no love lost when the Zebras and Bafana Bafana meet next month. While the South Africans would want to settle the score with Botswana, the Zebras will be out for a repeat after last year's shock win against Bafana Bafana. The 6-5 penalty shoot-out victory was Botswana's first ever win against the formidable South Africans.
