Young Zebras Mess Their Chances

The Young Zebras messed their chances of booking a place at the 2009 African Youth Championships when they were held to a 1-1 draw by visiting South Africa in the first leg at the National Stadium on Saturday.

The Botswana lads will have to do the unexpected by beating Amajita in Kimberley on October 11 to qualify for the finals in Rwanda. The Young Zebras failed to take advantage of playing at home as they huffed and puffed for the most part of the game. There was no coordination in the Botswana team for the most part of the game thus allowing their opponents to dictate the pace.
