Zimbabwe national Under-23 side put up a brave performance, coming from behind twice to hold Young Zebras to a 2-2 draw in a pulsating first leg of the second round of the 2011 All Africa Games (AAG) qualifier at Molepolole Stadium on Friday afternoon. Young Zebras went into the match missing a number of key players who starred in the 2-1 home win over Egypt in the Olympic qualifiers the previous Friday. Notable absentees included star striker, Mogakolodi Ngele and two-goal hero against the Egyptians, Bakang Moeng. The home side started the game without showing any urgency they displayed against Egypt with the Zimbabweans managing to match the Young Zebras in most occasions.

The Young Zebras however found the back of the net in the 15th minute through winger Kgololo Leteane who pounced on a rebound after Zimbabwean goalkeeper Aeriel Sibanda beat back a powerful shot by Phenyo Molefe.
