Young Zebras face unfancied Comoros in COSAFA Cup opener

The Under-20 side kick-starts this year's Metropolitan COSAFA Under-20 Youth Championships with a clash against the Comoros on December 1.

The game is scheduled to start at 4pm at the UB Stadium immediately after the opening ceremony.Botswana is hosting the championships for the second successive year. The championships had always been hosted by South Africa.The Young Zebras have been drawn against Comoros, Swaziland and Mozambique in Group A. After the Young Zebras' and Comoros game, Swaziland will lock horns with Mozambique to complete the schedule for the opening day. Kick-off is at 6.30pm. 

Young Zebras will then take on Mozambique on December 4 before wrapping up their group matches against Swaziland two days later. Both games will take place at the Molepolole Sports Complex. The semi finals will be played on December 8. The final as well as the third/fourth play-off will take place on December 10. Malawi will be available after some uncertainties.
