The Botswana U-17 national team narrowly edged visiting Rwanda 1-0 courtesy of a solitary Allan Ndodore second half strike in a CAF African Championships second round qualifier at the Molepolole Sports Complex on  Friday evening.

The Young Zebras travel to Kigali, Rwanda carrying the slender lead after the scrappy home display. The winner between the two teams proceeds to the third round against the winner of the  Sudan/Somalia tie. Ndodole scored the only goal of the game six minutes into the second half after being set up by Lebogang Ditsire, who had a good game. Ndodore received the ball from the left wing and coolly placed the ball on the far left corner beyond the reach of the junior wasps goalkeeper.
