Young Zebras bow out of COSAFA

National Under-20 bowed of the Metropolitan COSAFA tournament in Mpumalanga, South Africa after a 2-0 defeat to South Africa on Wednesday afternoon.

Under-20 coach Boyo Radipotsane told Mmegi Sport that despite losing to South Africa, they managed to perform well and left a lasting impression.
"We did well but were unfortunate to lose to South Africa. We matched them but we could not convert the chances we created," he said. Radipotsane said that his boys lost concentration in the last 10 minutes and were punished.

He further said that it is important to play some international friendly games ahead of such games and that that will help them to prepare well. "We could have done better and we will have to keep this team together. Most of them are 17 years old," he said. The Botswana team was expected to arrive in the country last night.
Meanwhile, the national Under-17 left for Namibia yesterday where they are expected to take part in the regional games. The Botswana team is coached by Kaizer Kobedi and Happy Motshegare.
