Wrangling mars Moatlhaping deal

An ongoing contractual wrangle with an agent threatens to scupper Moemedi 'Jomo' Moatlhaping's move to South Africa's First Division side, Bay United after a successful trial recently.

The Zebras and Mochudi Centre Chiefs hitman, was impressive during a three-day trial at Umlilo, scoring three goals in a friendly match played against a Polokwane select side.

But just when he looked close to making his breakthrough after the Platinum Stars deal went belly up during the pre-season, a South African agent has sent a contract he has with the player to the club. The former Premiership club confirmed receiving a copy of the contract between the player and Rasthoem Simmons of SimSport.International and United are clearly unhappy about the confusion. On the other hand, the player has denied that he has an agreement with the agency.
