SELEBI-PHIKWE: Wounded UB Rhinos will be out to put their rugby League Cup campaign back on track when they play Eastern Military Garrison (EMG) Gunners in Selebi-Phikwe tomorrow.

Sparks are expected to fly as Gunners seek to end a winless streak against Rhinos. Gunners are fourth with 13 points while Rhinos, fresh from a morale-sapping 18-14 defeat to leaders, Gaborone Hogs are second with 15 points. The Selebi-Phikwe side drew their last encounter against Francistown Tuskers.

Rhinos' chairman, Lesedi Keekae, said they have worked hard to rectify mistakes, which led to the Hogs' loss. He stated that despite the holiday break, the players are in good shape. Last season, Rhinos won the league and semi-final matches, relegating the Selebi-Phikwe side to third spot. Keekae said some of their players picked minor knocks during the top of the table clash against Hogs but should recover in time for the weekend match.
