SELEBI-PHIKWE: Four of the nine Nico United players who were injured in an accident recently have started training.

Some of the players are to feature in the clash against Jwaneng Comets at the Galaxy Stadium on Saturday, Nico spokesperson, Etlhomilwe Raditshego has said. He added that defender Joseph Waitse will be out for a longer period. He said some of the players are expected to return to training before the end of the week. "However, if they do not recover, we will have to do with what we have at our disposal," Raditshego said. He said that the club has made a commitment to honour the weekend fixture regardless of the players' condition.

He said the injured players are still complaining of pains, although they are in a stable condition. Raditshego said they will listen to the doctor's instructions, and if the players are declared fit, they will play against Comets.
