Wonder Sporting promoted

Wonder Sporting has been promoted to the Botswana Premier League (BPL) after walloping visiting Masitaoka 4-1 in an exciting match played at the SSG Grounds on Saturday.

Wonder needed a victory to secure their promotion with Jwaneng Comets playing Modipane United on the same day. Wonder went into the Saturday match leading Comets by just two points. Both teams were facing tricky encounters but Wonder Sporting passed the test with flying colours, scoring four goals on the day to send their supporters into wild celebrations. Jwaneng Comets on the other hand failed dismally, losing to Modipane United.
Wonder's head coach Sthanda Mogwadi took no chances and started with his experienced players.
