Wonder Sporting mean business

They have dominated the First Division South League for so many years but they often fall at the last hurdle when they are expected to get promotion to the Premier League.

This reputation has made them lose appetite for bigger things and last season they nearly paid a heavy price for complacency.

It was by sheer luck that the Special Support Group (SSG) side Wonder Sporting survived relegation and now they have taken stock of themselves to avoid disaster. The squad has been reinforced with some notable signings from their 'brothers' Police XI and Wonder should be a real force to reckon with in the new campaign. Defender Themba 'Amankwa' Ketshabile, Tlhabano Pelaelo, goalkeeper Bafedile Lekalake and former Zebras' striker Duncan Kgopolelo might have been regarded as surplus to requirements at Police XI but they are still a class act.
