The AT & T Monnakgotla women's league enters match day five this weekend without visible advertising from sponsors and concern over referees.

However, the league's chairperson, Senki Sesinyi said they are happy with the way things have progressed. He said referees officiate at matches and clubs are expected to receive a new kit soon. "This shows growth as teams will be given both home and away kit, a thing which happened only in the first season of the sponsorship," Sesinyi said. Clubs had said although they are content with the running of the league, the sponsor should do more to derive mileage at the grounds.

Double Action public relations officer, Kabelo Selelo said they are happy with the running of the league, but pointed that the sponsor might have missed a marketing opportunity by failing to grace the field during the launch. Banners continue to be absent and Selelo believes the presence of the banners at the fields would give the sponsor mileage.
