Women football league kicks-off amid murmurs

Stakeholders have said they have agreed with the Botswana Football Association (BFA) that though there are a number of issues that must be resolved, the delayed women soccer league should start this weekend to keep players busy.

The stakeholders said they made the decision only for the good of players but they are not happy with certain things that could have been ironed out before the competition kicks-off.

Double Action coach Agreement Podi has hailed the decision to start the league as a step in the right direction. He said though some things were not completely ironed out between them and the Botswana Football Association (BFA), it is important that the league starts for the benefit of players.
