Withdrawals mar BISA elections

The Botswana Integrated Sports Association (BISA) meeting nearly aborted on Saturday after some candidates withdrew at the 11th hour.

BISA president, Batshidi Tsae said the withdrawals made some delegates at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Gaborone Senior School to demand the elections should be postponed. The delegates felt that the candidates were running away from something.

But Tsae said that eventually, the dissenters were made to understand the reasons  for the withdrawals.
