Back in charge: Mamelodi has been appointed Galaxy CEO

A restructuring process at Jwaneng Galaxy ahead of the next season has kicked off with the acquisition of Bennett Mamelodi as the club’s chief executive officer (CEO). But has the club caught the goose that will lay the golden egg, asks Mmegi Sport Correspondent, KABELO BORANABI

Just two months after being crowned league champions, Galaxy are reshuffling cards in order to respond to the immediate challenges posed, particularly by COVID-19.

This is at a time when the local football authorities are on a mission to speed up the commercialisation process, which ironically, is spearheaded by Bennett’s, elder brother, Ashford Mamelodi.
