Second-placed Wells will be hoping to go level with log leaders BDF IX in the Shell Softball Men's League when they take on Police IX and Panthers in Jwaneng tomorrow.

The league resumes this weekend, but teams will complete the first round fixtures before going into the second round of the season next month.

Botswana Softball Association (BSA) competitions organiser, Renny Molete said the next two weekends will be used to finish off the first round games. "The southern zone teams did not finish the first round; so it will be a continuation of the first round this weekend and next weekend and then after these two weekends we will be going to the second round," he told Mmegi Sport. Wells are breathing heavily on BDF, who top the log with 16 points from nine fixtures.
