Wayward TAFIC quartet gets reprieve

FRANCISTOWN: Four TAFIC players who missed the game against BMC instead opting to play in a social tournament have been pardoned.

The players, Ogomoditswe Baoleng, Tuelo Motaung, Tlhagiso Mamuno and goalkeeper Derrick Keagaiwa were to face disciplinary action for their transgressions, but escaped with a caution.

TAFIC spokesperson Thomas Chabalala said the management had decided to pardon the players. "We indeed met as management to look at the issue and after considering some factors, we decided to pardon them," he said.
