The Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) has been left searching for a new national team coach following the resignation of Neal Gouws.

The Vultures coach's daughter has been diagnosed with an ailment, the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Gouws said as a result, he has to relocate to South Africa. Gouws confirmed his resignation to Mmegi Sport yesterday, as he has to spend more time with his daughter. He revealed that his younger daughter has been diagnosed with ASD and therefore he has to relocate to Pretoria where she would be able to be attended to by therapists.

He said that everything happened so quickly and now his life has turned upside down."This is happening at the time when I had already drawn up very big plans for the national team but it is something that one never anticipates," he said.
