Volleyball League off to a flying start

LOBATSE: The Mascom Volleyball League got off to a flying start with Spiking Stars narrowly beating Victory Seekers 3-2 in an a closely contested match.

The two sides fought very hard to win their first match of the season. The game could have gone either way, but experience saw Spiking Stars through when the going got tough. 

The two teams gave spectators who braved the chilly morning to watch the match value for their money. The teams did show rustiness that is always associated with the start of the league. Although there were patches here and there the match was not a bad start. Victory Seekers' main undoing was lack of experience and confidence.
