Botswana Volleyball Federation (BVF) vice president (technical), George Keotsene, said that after a lengthy delay, they communicated with Algerian side, USMB officials to negotiate the duo's release. The officials have since written letters to release the players to turn out for other clubs.

The two joined USMB last year but when they came to Botswana for a short vacation, they failed to return to the north African country to see out their contracts. Their contracts expired but they could not play before getting clearance.
