Reports say the former Zebras' skipper is seen as a bad influence on players hence the decision to get rid of him at a meeting on Tuesday. "I can confirm to you that Abedi will not be playing for us next season if we maintain the same committee after the weekend elections. The team manager and his assistant are not big favourites of Abedi and they have since influenced the technical team to put him on transfer. Even during the past season, the same people were influential on whether Abedi starts the game or not. He is very vocal and they (officials) see him as a threat.
