BDF XI have reportedly decided to terminate the contract of veteran midfielder Masego 'Abedi' Ntshingane after allegations of indiscipline.

Reports say the former Zebras' skipper is seen as a bad influence on players hence the decision to get rid of him at a meeting on Tuesday. "I can confirm to you that Abedi will not be playing for us next season if we maintain the same committee after the weekend elections. The team manager and his assistant are not big favourites of Abedi and they have since influenced the technical team to put him on transfer. Even during the past season, the same people were influential on whether Abedi starts the game or not. He is very vocal and they (officials) see him as a threat.  I can confirm to you that the management is divided over the matter," said a source who was at the Tuesday meeting.

The source revealed that it is likely that the issue might be debated at the club's general meeting and some people might lose their positions in the executive committee over the matter. Ntshingane joined BDF XI from Mogoditshane Fighters at the start of the 2008-2009 season and has since become one of the key players at Matebele. Though he has not played consistently in recent times, his contribution saw BDF XI reaching the Coca-Cola Cup final and finishing fourth in the be MOBILE Premier League.
