Thathayaone Tshose, who became the first local cricketer to ply his trade in England, has missed an opportunity to join Australian side, Colts CC.

The deal with the club based in Bunbury, Western Australia was at an advanced stage with only the visa application left. However, with securing an Australian visa taking longer, it was late for Tshose to process after receiving his papers from Colts CC just before the Independence Day holidays.

“It was too late for me to apply. I was supposed to be in Australia this week but the papers from the club only arrived just before Independence Day,” Tshose said yesterday.
