Rollers were the first to test the opposition keeper on the 35 minute when Kelebogile Mosarwa failed to beat the goalkeeper from Thato Matabane's pass. On the 41st minute, Thato Matabane failed to give Rollers the lead as she played the ball over the goal post while she was inside the box. The two teams went for half time goalless.

On the 78th minute, Rollers started to take control of the game with their attacking players visiting the goal post more often with Thato Matabane failing to utilise their chances nevertheless.
