Umbro beats Puma to Zebras deal

* Umbro won't meet BFA's financial demands

English sportswear giant, Umbro is the new Zebras technical sponsor, beating Puma to the deal, while All Kasi was out of the reckoning after proposing a partnership with the Botswana Football Association (BFA), Mmegi Sport has learnt.

Although BFA chief executive officer (CEO), Duncan Kgame was cagey with details when contacted for comment, Mmegi Sport can reveal that Umbro has emerged the winners ahead of Puma. All Kasi, which dressed the national side between June 2008 and March this year, reportedly fell out of the race after proposing that the BFA buy shares in the local clothing company.
