UB teams leave for Zim games

The University of Botswana (UB) teams will tomorrow travel to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe for the Sports Festivals, following the University of Lesotho's inability to host this year's Intervarsity Games.

UB Acting Director of Culture, Sport and Recreation, Raj Rathedi told Mmegi Sport on Wednesday that the University of Lesotho has cited last year's strike by lecturers as one of the reasons they cannot host the games this year. 

He said authorities at the institution explained that the strike affected lectures in the last semester.
