It is now or never as the senior soccer team, the Zebras take on the Pharaohs of Egypt in an AFCON qualifier tonight. A lose or draw will effectively end the Zebras interest in the qualifiers. But my main issue is the Zebras’ venue.

Should they play their games at the National Stadium or at the University of Botswana Stadium? Some might wonder as to why I am asking this question as the National Stadium should be an obvious choice.

It could be viewed as the right choice on account of a better pitch, bigger seating capacity and a better VIP lounge.  But from a playing perspective, does it give us the home ground advantage we so desperately need? I am therefore of the view that the Zebras ought to alternate its venues depending on the technical advantage it can get.
