UB crystals clip Doves' wings in spar league

Crystals went into the match buoyed by their earlier emphatic 101-9 victory over Flying Hawks while Doves had just come from a narrow 32-42 loss at the hands of Notwane.

Doves got off to a nervous start, letting their forceful opponents notch up a succession of early shots to open an early lead.  They clearly failed to take advantage of Crystals' defence failure to live up to the hype in the opening two quarters. Crystals were allowed some easy possession and they capitalised on this in some fashion, brilliantly feeding balls in to their attackers.
