Tuskers still struggling

FRANCISTOWN: The most struggling rugby club in the league, Tuskers, registered yet another loss to cross-town rivals, Sharks club, in a game that was watched by multitudes of rugby supporters at Donga BDF ground

Sharks' centre man, Lingisiwe Morgan and winger Leloba Kgosintwe, gave Tuskers' defenders hard time in blocking their runs. The duo found many tries all thanks to their superior speed that their opponents could not cope with.

Sharks, who  finished last year's league in position five, rolled over Tuskers after their coach, Victor Lajini, introduced Martin Makgaritha, Mompoloki Nkemisang and Thapelo Setlhaku. Tuskers resorted to committing fouls resulting in penalties that cost them dearly. In an interview with Sharks' coach, Lajini, at the end of the game, he said he is happy with his boys as they came prepared for Tuskers which used to dominate them in the past seasons. He said his team has improved compared to last year. "It shows a better improvement on our side looking at how we were performing in the past season. The substitutions we made changed the game and the pace increased after we introduced the three players," he said. While Sharks got in the game on position five in the log, Tuskers are still struggling at the bottom of the log without a point.
