Tswapong region league kicks off

PALAPYE: The Tswapong Regional Football league kicked off on Sunday at Palapye Swalllows Ground.

Representatives from sponsors, Itekanele Medical Aid and Pro Guard Security Services were present at the occasion to witness the first two games of the competition.

Pro Guard managing director Obed Pelotshweu, performed the official kick off in the first game of the afternoon between Moshopha Tigers and FC Palapye. The game produced nine goals as FC Palapye came from behind to win 6-3. Morupule Wanderers beat Lerala United by a solitary goal in a hotly contested match. While Itekanele has been brought on board as the main league sponsors, Pro Guard will be taking care of the referees.
