Zebras' coach, Stanley Tshosane and the team stand on the brink of history after they made the final cut in nominations for top CAF awards to be held in Accra, Ghana tonight. Tshosane is expected to attend the CAF awards.

Top striker, Jerome Ramatlhakwana, who was among the nominees, misses out after the list of CAF African Player of the Year (based in Africa) was trimmed to three last week.

However, it is not all gloom and doom for the nation as Tshosane and the Zebras are still in the running for Coach and Team of the Year awards respectively. Tshosane faces Harouna Doula from Niger who also led his country to its first ever Africa Cup of Nations finals appearance.
