Trouble brewing at Hotspurs

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Trouble is brewing at Mahalapye Hotspurs following reports of interference in the coach's job after the club slipped in the title chase.

In addition, there are allegations of bias against players from outside Mahalapye. The management is accused of fielding its favourite players who have become bigheaded and do not respect the coach, Candy Tshaboeng.

Hotspurs has seen its title charge falter in recent weeks with three successive defeats which have handed the initiative to leaders, Satmos. Their last outing ended in a 4-2 drubbing at the hands of First Division debutants, No Mathata. During the game, the management reportedly imposed a captain of their choice without Tshaboeng's knowledge. Boitshoko Dikepu was clandestinely given the captain's arm band, but was kept on the bench for the game.
