Top players expected at FSG chess tourney

The tournament, which is expected to attract all national team players, starts at 8:00 am and FSG has sponsored the competition for P15, 000.

The registration fee for the tournament is P50 for youngsters and P75 adults. The theme for this event is 'Thirty years of making smart moves'. The best player in the men's category will pocket P2, 500 with P1, 500 and P1,000 going to second and third placed individuals respectively. The top 10 players will receive prizes. Women players will be awarded prize money up to position six with the top three prizes being P2, 000, P1, 000 and P600.
