Top Chess players in international events

Top local Chess players, Providence Oatlhotse and FM Phemelo Khetho are currently in South Africa taking part in the 2012 Capablanca Open Chess Festival Prestige A (IM Norm).

The event that started on  Friday and ends tomorrow, has attracted players from, Zambia, Zimbabwe,  Botswana and South Africa.

The tournament is an International Norm tournament where top performers have a chance  to  get IM Norm's towards the title of International Master.  Botswana chess Federation's Kelapile Kelathilwe says Khetho and Oathotse  were invited by virtue of their FIDE ratings.
