Tonota FC vow to appeal after fine

FRANCISTOWN: Tonota FC were found guilty in both their cases against Kazungula FC and TASC after the team failed to honour a fixture and then caused a clash of colours in the second matter.

The First Division North Committee heard both the matters at the Kutlwano Police Station on Saturday and Monday respectively.  The team, which lost three points and two goals for each case, has vowed to appeal the TASC judgement. In the first matter Tonota FC failed to honour their fixture against Kazungula away, while in the second, the Tonota side was charged for causing a clash of colours after failing to bring an alternative kit for their fixture against TASC.

Secretary general of the league committee, , Rapula Gaotlhobogwe said the cases are a closed chapter and the league will now resume.
