Thabo Ngake, Otsetswe Seboletswe and Edgar Seseko scored for the home side while Kentse Wamakoko scored a brace for Flamingoes.

Spurred by handful home fans, Tonota FC showed some intent to score following a corner-kick in the sixth minute. The Flamingoes' defense did well to control the ball and managed to clear it out of the danger zone. However, the hosts camped in the visitors' half. They continued piling pressure on the somewhat sluggish defense of the visitors.Flamingoes' goalkeeper, Moeti Ramashaba made some brilliant saves but the home side continued to probe the visitors' goal and their efforts were eventually rewarded in the 35th minute through Seboletswe. The nimble footed footballer lobbed a ball some 35 meters from the goal, which Ramashaba attempted to catch, but the power behind the ball coupled by the wet conditions resulted in the ball slipping off his hands into the net.
