From the spectacular end-to-end duel between Township Rollers and Mochudi Centre Chiefs to Lawrence Majawa's sensational goal, the 2010-2011 Premier League season has been one of the most exciting in local soccer.

For the first time in a decade, the Premier League title has been successfully defended. Township Rollers broke the 10-year jinx when they won the Premier League for the second year running to clinch their 11th title. In the lower reaches of the league, three sides have been relegated for the first time.

Motlakase could not replicate their Coca-Cola Cup performance in the league and dropped to the First Division after two seasons in the top flight. TASC who returned to the Premier League through the promotion play-offs found the going tough and got the chop. It was always clear that Black Peril who changed coaches three times in the campaign was destined for a short-call in the league and duly relegated after one season.
