The dreams of a Palapye boy

Not even punters and bookmakers saw this one coming. To most football fans, the tired clich of Goliath and David football clash is a truism in this edition of the Coca-Cola Cup final.

Motlakase are featherweights and they shall be gunned down before they could wire their slingshot to choke the mighty Mapantsula. How wrong can people be? This cup is headed to Palapye. Come Saturday evening, everyone who calls Palapye home  will be celebrating. The celebrationS will be held in Thomadithose, Fitase, Serorome, Boseja, Boikago, Ntswelemoriti, Khurumela and Extension Three  while rivers of tears will be drowning people in Woodhall, Delta, Thema Two and Boswelatlou. Lest football lovers forget, the tiny David overcame Goliath in biblical times and so it shall be tomorrow when Chouka Chouka snuffs the life out of the already hobbling giant of Botswana football.
