It was a normal blue Monday morning. The autumn weather dominated the morning as weary bodies from the usual weekend exploits prepared for another day's work. There was something unusual about Gaborone's Central Business District (CBD) that morning. The morning blues were quickly met with flying green balloons. Not really a million but plenty of them. It was a rare scene on a Monday morning. The road leading to the President Hotel was decorated in green.
Just adjacent to the hotel, there was a makeshift soccer pitch. There was an imaginary team, with two skippers.
